After the brutal clash in Tokyo Colony No. 1, Megumi Fushiguro emerges victorious as Reggie Star falls before him. Realizing how Megumi skillfully outmaneuvered him with Divine Dog: Totality and the strategic use of Chimera Shadow Garden, Reggie accepts defeat without bitterness. As a final act, he transfers his 41 points to Megumi and leaves him with a parting message — to trust fate in guiding his path.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the colony, Iori Hazenoki struggles against Fumihiko Takaba. Takaba’s strange antics and the accidental activation of his Comedian cursed technique — which turns his jokes into reality — make him practically untouchable. No matter how hard Hazenoki attacks, nothing works. Shaken by Takaba’s bizarre immunity and further rattled after learning of Reggie’s death, Hazenoki chooses to retreat, leaving Takaba unharmed and without earning any points.
Across the battered streets, Remi runs in fear after watching the chaos unfold. She eventually finds herself cornered by Megumi’s Divine Dog, moments away from death. But just before he delivers the final blow, Megumi hears an echo of Tsumiki’s voice urging compassion. He spares Remi, but his injuries and fatigue finally overwhelm him, causing him to collapse.
As Megumi lies unconscious, a mysterious figure descends — Hana Kurusu, the Angel. Her arrival marks the beginning of a new turning point in the Culling Game.
